Operating from a 35,000 sq ft (4,000 sq m) purpose built facility in Bishops Stortford, UK, our aim is to continue building a profitable long term business for both ourselves and our partners.
Cornelius supply full range of innovative technical and commodity type raw materials to manufacturers in the number of industries, including:
Industrial sectors (for manufacture of adhesives, can and coil coatings, decorative coatings, powder coatings, construction, composites, inks, laminating, plastics, rubber, sealants, textiles).
Additives: cellulosic thickeners, disperants / wetting agents, fluorocarbon textile treatments, metal complex driers / catalysts, defoamers, flash rust inhibitors, neutralising amines, rheology modifiers.
Resins, Polymers and crosslinkers: acrylic emulsions, epoxy resins, curing agents and diluents, phenolic resins, polyols, polyvinyl butyral, reactive resin modifiers, resins with silica nanoparticles, silanes, silicone polymers, specialist resins, SPUR polymers.
Pigments, colourants and dyes : aluminium pigments, fluorescent pigments and dyes, inorganic/organic, pearlescent and thermochromic pigments, tinting systems.
Fillers: ceramic microspheres, high-purity silica, precipitated calcium carbonate, speciality fillers, wollastonite.
Also: Adhesives, blowing Agents, fragrance encapsulated inks, nano zinc oxide (UV Barrier), Leneta® charts, waxes.
Cosmetics and Personal care (colour cosmetics, hair care, skin care, sun care, toiletries,oral care- natural waxes, oils, vegetable esters, extensive range of Ecocert certified ingredients, pearlescent pigments, multi-functional actives, antimicrobials, silicones, surfactants, UV absorbers, UV filters, rheology modifiers, polymers, softeners, emollients, thickeners, film formers.
Food and Beverage (animal nutrition, beverages, bakery, confectionery, dairy, slimming, sports nutrition, vitamins and supplements)
Product portfolio include: amino acids, antioxidants, bakery additives, colours, coatings, delivery systems, enzymes, polyols, preservatives, processing aids, seed oils, sports nutrition, extracts, sugars, supplements, vitamins and minerals, weight management ingredients etc.
Pharmaceutical (actives, antiadherents, binders, coatings, disintegrants, fillers, glidants, lubricants, preservatives, soft gels, supplements, thickeners, vitamins and mineral premixes)
The range of materials supplied by Cornelius is extensive; we pride ourselves on being able to deliver the best service to our customers. Indeed, our vision is helping our customers to further develop their business.
We also have a manufacturing operation producing high purity monomers for use in high technology medical areas such as contact lenses and intra ocular devices. This occupies a 10,000 sq ft facility, utilising Cornelius designed technology aligned to its own R&D.
